Government Consultation: Visitor Levy - Members Consultation Open

The Government recently announced new powers for Mayors of strategic authorities to implement a visitor levy for all overnight visitors. This new visitor levy will be aimed at delivering more long-term, locally led investment in transport, regeneration and cultural assets that can unlock growth and make places more attractive for residents, businesses and visitors. You can find out more about what the levy might mean for the region in our WMCRU session here.
