The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create job placements for 16 to 24-year-olds on Universal Credit.
The National Lottery Heritage Fund has resumed accepting small and medium project funding applications and launched an interest-free loans pilot.


Severn Trent Community Fund for projects that help improve community wellbeing.

National Lottery Project Grants have reopened, with a budget of £59.8 million available until April 2021. ACE state that they have prioritised reopening this programme to help fund independent organisations, creative practitioners and freelancers as quickly as possible.

Dance Professionals Fund - Dancers' Hardship Fund: This ACE-supported fund has just opened, to support freelance dancers including those with portfolio careers, e.g. choreography, who whose work would normally include employment in the subsidised dance sector.

Coronavirus Community Support Fund: This new funding stream makes available £200m in Government funding, aimed primarily at small to medium organisations in England.

Talking Birds - Difference Engine Stories - Open Call for artists/writers/theatremakers interested in making new mini art experiences using the captioning possibilities of the Difference Engine to create something beautiful, and a bit different. Applications close 10 January.

BBC Arts Culture in Quarantine - New Commissioning Strand to Support Disabled Artists Ten established disabled, D/deaf and neurodiverse artists will be commissioned from across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to create new video or audio works to be published on BBC platforms in 2021. Deadline 12 January 2021.

Ikon for Artists Open Call - Birmingham-based artists are invited to submit one artwork with a value of up to £1,000 for an exhibition in 2021. As an exhibiting artist, you will receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of your work. Deadline 15 January 2021.
