ReNEW Local Culture Sector - Skills and Capacity Development Project

ReNEW is a new programme for artists, creatives, cultural practitioners and organisations across Bromsgrove and Redditch.

Culture Central is working with the local sector to understand what support is needed, build connections, test ideas and shape a programme of skills and capacity development activity.

This next phase of work takes learning from Tell Me What You Want (TMWYW), a community consultation carried out 2019/2020. The project involved over 1,000 conversations and explored what local people wanted for arts, culture and heritage in their area.

The ReNEW local cultural skills development programme is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England’s Place Partnership Fund. Delivered by Culture Central.

ReNEW Skills: Launch Event and Workshop

Join us for the first programme event to meet others working across arts, culture and creativity in Redditch and Bromsgrove.

We will be sharing more about the programme as well as hearing from you about what matters to people working locally. This event is to start shaping the training, support and opportunities that follow. Join us and have your say.

This event is open to:

  • Artists and creatives

  • Cultural and heritage practitioners

  • Organisations and community groups

  • Anyone who works or volunteers in the local arts, cultural or creative sector in Redditch or Bromsgrove.
