Time: 5 days per week / 37.5 hours (1.0 FTE) 12-month fixed term contract
Salary: £40,000 (negotiable for an exceptional candidate)
Based: Hybrid working, with at least 1 day in Birmingham and occasional travel and meetings across the West Midlands.

Background and Context:
Culture Central is the collective voice of the Cultural Sector in the West Midlands. We convene, challenge, and connect to create opportunities through culture for the people and places of the West Midlands.

Culture Central is a membership organisation created to help build a sustainable and resilient arts and cultural ecology. We are an Arts Council England Investment Principles Support Organisation and we deliver programmes, advocacy and strategy for the cultural sector in the West Midlands.

All of our work as an organisation contributes to the delivery of ‘Collectively Strategising Culture: Our Plan’ Co-created by over 125 leaders from the regions Cultural Sector, Collectively Strategising Culture outlines our priorities and ambitions as a sector in the West Midlands. This plan has been designed to create a shared sense of direction, purpose and responsibility to ourselves and our stakeholders.

Purpose of the Role:
To provide the critical bridge between organisational strategy and programme delivery, ensuring that projects, programmes, and organisational priorities are effectively planned, coordinated, monitored, and delivered working across all areas of the Culture Central programmes.

The role will support the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Executive Officer by developing strategic priorities into programme design and delivery, ensuring delivery remains on track, on time, and aligned with agreed outcomes
