Join our November WMCRU session with Julie Temperley, Senior Associate at Innovation Unit.
Innovation Unit is a not-for-profit social enterprise that has been designing and scaling innovative solutions to social challenges for 20 years. For the last 18 months, Culture Central has been working with Innovation Unit to co-design a workforce strategy for the cultural sector in the West Midlands with members and stakeholders.
Julie Temperley, a Senior Associate at Innovation Unit, will join us at our WMCRU meeting on 11 November to share the journey we have been on so far, and the insights and ideas that colleagues have generated. There will be a chance for discussion and to consider the future direction of this important work together.
Julie joined Innovation Unit as a Senior Associate in 2010 with a background in research and evaluation as part of large scale change programmes. As a learning partner in innovation projects and programmes, Julie makes data and evidence of different kinds inspiring and useful to practitioners and leaders working to transform the lives of the people they serve.

About WMCRU
Set up during COVID, our regular West Midlands Culture Response Unit (WMCRU) meetings were a vital lifeline for the sector in connecting, sharing and getting practical information and advice. WMCRU has continued to be a useful space for organisations and individuals that Culture Central continues to support as a collective and collaborative space for all those that are interested in the cultural ecology of the region. In 2024-25, WMCRU meetings will explore key strategic challenges and opportunities that affect the sector and the region.
